In July 2025, N/A Project Space presents String Theory, a group show curated by Jill Benson and featuring the work of Natalie Baxter, Toni Brogan, Melissa Dadourian, Kathie Halfin, Kat Howard, Amanda C. Mathis, Courtney Puckett, Eliza Stamps, and Hanna Washburn.

In physics, String Theory describes how quantum particles and forces, known as strings, propagate through space and interact with each other. The strings vibrate and create gravitational force. It is the natural force to create that drives our artists to weave, sew, knit and sculpt the work in this show. Employing techniques traditionally used for domestic products, they spin their raw materials into entirely new meanings. Primarily using fiber, these artists weave new narratives from traditional techniques, changing how we initially view their creations. They ask us to see familiar things in a new light, revealing a different aspect of the fabric that forms our universe.
